Hoover Dam

On our way to Phoenix we spent the night in Vegas and then drove the rest of the way the day of the wedding. Friday morning we woke up and got ready. We ate breakfast at a Jack in the Box right by the airport. The kids loved watching the planes take off and land. Easton would shout in his baby talk when ever he saw one coming in. It was so cute to watch them. While I was in line a lady that was waiting to order started talking to me about how cute our family was. She told me that she had 5 girls and then had 2 boys. All I could think of was WOW 7 kids. When we were done eating a lady came up to us to tell us how cute our boys are. She then went on to tell us that she had 5 boys and then had 2 girls. Tyler had it set in his mind that it meant that we were suppose to have 7 kids. It wasn't just by chance that two different people would say that. I think he wants me committed to a mental institution.
Anyway on the way out of Vegas we decided to stop at the Hoover Dam. None of us had ever been there. The boys were so excited because that is where the Allspark was hidden in the movie Transformers. It was so much fun. I was really grateful later in the day to find out that we had made to through the dam just in time. A tour bus rolled on it's way to the Grand Canyon and the dam road had to be closed down for several hours. If we wouldn't have made it to the reception I would have been crushed.
