HELP ME!!!!!

I have had a ruff couple of weeks. I hope that all the injury's are over for awhile. I will start with the one that happened on 12/17/08. I had just put all the kids in their pajamas. Tyler had just left to play basketball. I was going to vacuum the kitchen floor and then put Easton to bed. He was having such a great time dancing to the music that I had blasting from the radio. I had just started vacuuming when I heard him screaming. I turned to see blood running down his face. I ran over to wipe it to see how bad it was. I called for Kayden to call his dad. The cut was deep. I knew that he needed stitches. I had to load them all up because I needed Kayden to help me hold a rag on his head while I drove. We couldn't get a hold of Tyler so we just left.
The first place we went to was the Insta Care. He would let us hold the rag on and was walking around the waiting room smiling at everyone while the blood ran down his face. The other kids were climbing under the chairs and running all over the place. A doctor came out to look at the wound and then informed me that I needed to take him to the ER. All the while, I was still trying to reach Tyler. We got to the ER and they hurried to get us a room. I think that it was because I had all these wild boys with me. We decided to just numb it and stitch. They mummy wrapped him and had two nurses hold him down while the doctor stitched. He screamed his head off. The kids were luckily in the hall. Although I'm sure they heard everything. I heard from Tyler when I was almost home. The stitches were suppose to dissolve in about 5 days.
A week later, all my family were at my house for a get together. I had to run to the store. When I walked in the door, everyone had a concerned look on their faces. Tyler was holding Easton with a rag over his face. It had happened again in a different spot. It was early enough that I was able to take him to the pediatricians office. The nurse prepped him for stitches. The doctor came in to look at it and determined that he could use glue to seal it. What a relief. It was much easier on him. The doctor was also able to remove the stitches that hadn't dissolved yet. He has bumped it on several things since the glue. His wound did start to bleed underneath, but I think that it will be OK.

On Saturday morning we woke up as usual with the exception of minus our two older boys. I went to check on Braxton and to gather the laundry from upstairs. I wasn't up there that long when I heard Tyler call me from our bedroom. I made my way down the stairs to find him sitting on our bed with Easton. He had a look of concern and frustration. I noticed a red mark on his face. I asked him what happened and he told me that he didn't know. I was way confused. He then told me what he remembered happening, he felt like he was going to throw up and got up to head for the bathroom. On his way to the bathroom he fainted and must of hit his dresser. It not only gave him a big black eye, but it chipped his front tooth. I stood there taken back. He then told me about somethings that had happened to him in the past. I sat on the floor and was flooded with the memories of all that we have been through. I feel like we have over come all the medical mishaps from the past, but can we really be sure. I broke down emotionally for a moment. All I could think was I can't do this again. I'm not strong enough. My husband is a man of great faith. He assured me that everything was OK. I immediately called our Doctors office to find out if he was in on a Saturday. He wouldn't be in until 2:00 on Monday. Tyler didn't want to see anyone else so I set up that appointment. I was still feeling uneasy, so I called the Doctors house to talk to him. He talked to Tyler about a few things and felt OK about waiting until Monday to see him. The rest of the day Tyler seem down. I think that he was down more because he looked like someone had beat him up.
I decided that I needed a picture of my two bruised and beat up boys. You might think it is weird for me to post these pictures, but it is always good to remember the good with the bad. At least today Tyler is smiling, which makes me feel a little more at ease. You can tell why we have been keeping it close to home this weekend.

Oh Gosh- I can't believe more Tyler. I was wondering where you were Sunday. What did the doctor say today? We'll keep you and your boys/man in our prayers.

Before I read that story (which I know is not funny), I saw his picture and I couldn't help but laugh. It really is funny.

And that's the week Brandon ended up in the hospital for heart problems. Check out my blog for January. I think someone else I know had something happen that week too. BAD WEEK.
