Tyson's 6th Birthday

Tyson is now 8 and I plan on posting that when I get around to it. I'm hoping that it won't take 2 years like this one. Tyson has always had a lot of friends, so when we sat down to plan his party the list of friends just kept growing. We had a total of 20 kids attend his party. Tyler had just had surgery on his ankle so Aunt Kasi came to the rescue to help me out. This was the poster he took to school to show how Awesome he is.

Playing games in the basement. This was also the last time he would include girls to the party. We shall see how long this lasts.

Basketball Season 2009

We enrolled Tyson and Kayden in Jr Jazz basketball. It was Tyson's first year playing and Kayden hadn't played since we lived out in the Ranches. We love watching our boys play sports. This year Tyler coached Tyson's team. The entire team lived within walking distance of our house.

E Went Missing!!!

One Sunday after church, we were relaxing enjoying a nice day. The snow was somewhat melting and the weather was warm enough for the kids to play outside. That was what they thought. They had been coming in and out which makes it easy to loose track of them. (I know that it is hard to believe) I had not seen Easton in a few and started to ask his brothers where he was. They all replied, "I don't know." We all scrambled to find him. Everyone was looking up and down the road. We looked downstairs and upstairs. I walked back into the kitchen to find him sleeping peacefully on one of our kitchen stools.
Easton had just recently learned to climb onto our stools, but hadn't mastered getting down. He must have been too tired to wait for someone to get him down and so he fell asleep. We were just happy that it wasn't Braxton or he might have rolled off in his sleep.

On Our Way Home

On our drive home we drove by the North tip of the Grand Canyon. None of us had ever been down that way so we stopped to take a look. The boys enjoyed the much needed break from being in the car. It was amazing how beautiful it was even at the North end. I really want to take them to the main part someday soon.

They were spitting over the bridge and watching it hit the water. I really don't think that they saw it hit, but because they are boys they all saw it.(???)

Mesa Temple

We decided that since it was Sunday we would find the Mesa temple and walk around. It was fun letting the kids look around and play in the sunlight because we were headed home the next day.

Tyler told Braxton to touch the cactus and because he trusted his dad that is what he did. Having Tyler is like having another child.

Braxton wanted to kiss Jesus.
